The NCAA recently announced a series of get-tough enforcement rules that raise serious ethical questions -- in part because they involve an un-American presumption of guilt, in part because they serve to prop up the wholly un-American notion of amateurism.
Oh, and at the same time, college football continues to skate almost completely on the problem of brain trauma, which I find increasingly odd.
